ISAF RECOGNIZED CLASS ORGANIZATIONS;

  • International Windsurfing Association; (IWA)
  • Professional Windsurfing Association; (PWA)
  • International Formula Windsurfing Class; (IFWC)
    A professional and semi professional class with wide short boards.
  • Formula Experience Class; (FE)
    An amateur Class aimed at Youth & Juniors.

  • International Funboard Class Association; (IFCA)
    IFCA was originally a class offering a combination of Wave, Slalom and Course racing, but has changed it's format into a Wave and Freestyle combination. The new formula of Freewave, agreed by the IFCA Annual General Meeting and confirmed by the ISAF Windsurfing Comity will have its first big test in the 2004 Worlds in Portugal. The combination of a Wave and Freestyle World Championship in a one-discipline event reflects what has been happening in a lot of countries on national level.
  • International Speedsurfing Association; (ISA)
    The ISA is the IFCA division for speedsurfing. The ISA Speedsurfing Grand Prix Tour is sanctioned by IFCA.
