Welcome to the Article section.

The "mission" of this page is to collect interesting articles about our sport. It can be travel related, tutorial, technical, historical, scientific - or whatever aspect you can think of, as long as it is of interest to the rest of us wind warriors and those "soon to be" windsurfers.

We encourage you all to send us your stories or articles. You do not have to be a professional writer, and worry too much about spelling or grammars. With your own permission we will edit whenever necessary. In this manner we will be able to build a library of useful, practical and hopefully amusing literature. It will be divided into sections, and of course rightfully credited the authors. Additionally we will add in articles of specific interest from magazines or other sources.

It is difficult to predict the future, but we have seen the past. The historical picture below is featuring the sign at the roof of the original Windsurfer factory in Torrence, California. It disappeared indefinitely in 1988. Our sport is only "37 years young", but there are endless untold stories still to be uncovered. Share your opinions, sailing experiences, ideas, memories or other related topics with us.

If you want to contribute to this exciting collection, please e-mail us at info@windsurfingacademy.com

To show our appreciation we will appoint "The Article of the year" and also reward good editorials as they come to hand.

Sincerely,
Academy Staff.
