Offical Event Notice Board
The Official Notice Board should be in place at an general location, such as a central accomodation area or pub where it can be viewed.
All important information regarding the event will be posted on this board every morning.
This can include :
- Sailing Venue for the Day
- Skippers Meeting Time
- 1st Heat Time
- Results
It is important to check this noticeboard, as the competition venue may change according to wind conditions.
Beach Notice Board
When the competition is under way all the information you require will be posted on the beach notice board i.e. (Heat duration, Heat sequence, Next heat, Heat competing, Competition area, Free sailing area and whether individual waves are scored or outside transition to inside transition counts as one wave. It will also include number of waves and jumps to count as well as their relevant multiplication factor). It is very important to check this information before your heat as this can and does change throughout the day. It is mandatory to check in with the beach marshal at the beach notice board before and after your heat.
In the event of non suitable conditions for wave competition, informal coaching sessions may take place by various Gold Fleet members. Check notice board for details
